I bought a Wii and Wii Fit Plus last Friday. I don't usually get much exercise...I don't like being watched while I'm exercising...my perfectionist tendancies freak me out when I'm exercising in public...so I figured maybe the Wii Fit might help me be able to work out at home.
I find it really motivating. The games are fun, I like that it shows me exactly how much time I've been doing it and how many calories I've burned. I've been working out for an hour every day on it (and that's not including the games I play before/after...which are also sweat-inducing!) And in 5 days I've lost 1.1kgs....or close to 2 pounds!!
I know at some point I'm going to have to step it up a bit and go beyond the Wii fit...but I figure if I sweat for an hour each day that's way better than I was doing before!
I'll update how it goes. Right now my goal is to be down 7kgs by the end of the summer!
