Edmonton...in all it's glory.

K I think it's about time I did this.

You've probably all ready my frantic post from about...October? about us being posted to Edmonton. Well, on June first 2009 I moved to Edmonton! Yup - did it!! I'm going to Grant MacEwan in the fall for my ECE, and I've moved in with Scott to a VERY nice apartment in an area called Clareview. I've spent the last three weeks getting our place in order, retraining Scott (dirty clothes go in the hamper, cereal bowls go in the dishwasher when they're done...y'know, general housebreaking), and making new friends!

It's not the worst ever- I'm actually liking it here...the girls are nice and yes, it's a very different experience, but we're getting through it! The CF paid to move my things, and it's getting easier every day.

I would suggest to any CFGF that gets posted away to try and make the best of it. Yes, I know getting posted an hour away or a country away- is hard. Very hard. But make the best of it. I know it's tearing your life away from you- it's hard to make a big change like that. But make the best of it- your life is wherever you are. Look at it as an adventure and have some fun with it.
